BRANDON BAY IS BACK - IRELAND

After a great success last autumn the Brandon Bay camps are back in 2024. Same concept, same coaches just a bit earlier to have longer days, a bit warmer temperatures & enjoy the first autumn storm on offer together!
HOW WILL IT WORK
5 days out of 6 day holding period concept,which means we will choose the best 5 days of the week for coaching both on land & on water to maximise everyones potential.
ENTREE LEVEL:
Minimum entrée level:
- Good waterstarts, harness + footstraps,
- Sailing up/downwind without problem & decent jibing (doesn't need to be a planning jibe)
+ BASIC PASSED WAVE SAILING EXPERIENCE.
Further you will need a hell lot of motivation and energy to improve your skills to make it a week to remember!
Coaching price for the camp start at 500 euro (incl. event T-shirt) + accomodation options available.

Born and raised in Brandon Bay itself Finn is a true wave addict.

ACCOMODATION:
BASE CAMP for this clinic will be Jamie Knox his headquarters on the east side of the bay having unique housing option that will allow participants to stay all together under the same roof with the option to book their own Private room for
300 euro/week or shared room for 200 euro/person/week.
VAN RENTAL:
This camp will be a remote one meaning we will be moving spot depending on the forecast and will also have participants take their own windsurfing gear.
When coming by plane the best option will be to look for a rental van (it's cheaper than car rental) at the airport.

HOW TO GET THERE
BY AIRPLANE:
DUBLIN - 4,5h drive from Brandon bay
Most countries have direct connection to Dublin making it one of the easiest airport to reach, however it’s also one of the furthest meaning you will still need to have a 4,5 drive down to Brandon Bay
CORK - 2h drive from Brandon Bay
This is the closest airport to Brandon Bay being on 2hour driving distance. Although not so common to have direct flights there is a connection flight through Amsterdam with KLM that flies to Cork on Saturday the 7th & returns on the 14th
SHANNON - 3h drive from Brandon Bay
Located near Galway Shannon is the only airport located on the West coast of Ireland. Several charter connections are to here followed by a 3hour drive down South to Brandon Bay.
KERRY AIRPORT - 35 min from Brandon Bay
good connections from the UK & Europe with Ryanair & your private jet.
BY FERRY:
Best is to take the ferry to Cork.
Either from Roscoff Bretagne or from the UK & than drive 2 hours to Brandon Bay .
Other option is to go just south Dublin, to Rosslare harbour from Cherbourg (Normandie France) or several different harbours from UK followed by a 4,5 hour drive West.
