Saturday started very nice, with good wind en full sun which made it feel a bit warmer than it actually was. There was 15-20 knots and I decided to rig my 4.3 and 4.7. After a short skippers meeting we started at 11.00 with the single which was already finished after an hour because of the low attendance, although there was no registration fee. I won the finals against Hylke in low wind conditions where I could still plain with my 4.7. In the double the wind became unstable. In the finals I had to take on Hylke again who had rigged up a 5.4. I started badly and my first 3 minutes (of the 6) were really bad because I was too focused on the shaka. But I was able to find my trust again during the last 3 minutes and landed some nice moves like double spock, nice shaka, bob OH, … which made me catch up on Hylke again and win the final. It was a nice competition, with wind and nice moves. I hope to see some more competitors next time !!
